First Christmas Commercial...

Rob says this doesn't count as a Christmas ad since its for a MOVIE due out NOVEMBER 9th.
Fred Claus.
Although this looks like a fun flik, considering we have the air conditioning on and I wore flip-flops today.... oh, and it is the first official day of fall... I think this ad is way too early. One thing at a time people.

Happy Anniversary, Baby...

Well, 4 years and still going...
Yesterday was our anniversary. Four years is the gift of "florals and/or fruit". I generally try to adhere to the traditional gifts and I can see why 4 years is such a cheap item... cause by that time you have no money after buying a house, having a baby etc, etc.
Unfortunately, I'm also running low on time.
We're lucky my car hasn't stalled after my pushing "E" for the last 3 drives to/from work.
I was going to get Rob his gift the night before, but - Murphey's Law (you wait till the last minute and something is bound to go wrong) - the place was closing early due to a broken water main.
Yesterday morning, the morning of our anniversary, Rob gave me super cute floral patterned panties. Yes, panties. I'm an underwear addict. Might be more info than what you were prepared for but I figured you could handle it.
Now I feel bad.
I then tried to get his gift after work... but with a fussy baby at home, my presence was requested at home. Rob had managed to get me flowers during the day. Damned! He's already hit me twice with gifts and I STILL haven't given him a thing.
At least this Saturday night is a date night. Who-hoo! A colleague will watch Evie while we go to a nice dinner with the Christmas $ my grandma had given us last year (I think she'd be thrilled to know its getting such a nice use). Hopefully, I'll have my act together at that time to give Rob his gift. Right about now, who knows. With a baby around, errands go the wayside.
But then again, like I told Rob - Evie really is the best anniversary gift to mark the significance of our 4 years together. She counts, doesn't she?

An air freshener.
